Curriculum Vitae


Dr. Haitao Ye is currently a Changjiang Distinguished Professor at Fudan University. His research interests include gemstone valuation, CVD and PVD thin film growth, electronic devices and sensors, wide bandgap materials, thermoelectric materials, and antibacterial/antimicrobial materials. He also holds the Diamond Diploma (DGA) from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain. He has published over 150 journal and conference papers and serves as the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the journal Functional Diamond. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Physics (FInstP), Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), and a Chartered Engineer (CEng) in the UK.
